Our client has an exciting opportunity for a committed and experienced individual to join their company as a full-time, permanent Air Conditioning Service Engineer. You will be instrumental in servicing and maintaining a variety of air conditioning systems across their client base.
Key Responsibilities
As an experienced Air Conditioning Engineer, your role will involve:
* Performing high-quality reactive and planned maintenance services specifically on various air conditioning systems, including VRF, Splits, Chillers, Refrigeration equipment, and Air Handling Units.
* Conducting building fit-outs and refurbishments as required.
* Ensuring all work complies with mechanical and electrical regulations and health and safety standards.
* Identifying and solving complex problems efficiently and effectively.
* Working autonomously on assigned tasks while also collaborating effectively as part of a larger team when necessary.
* Accurately diagnosing electrical faults in both mains power and control circuits.
* Maintaining excellent customer service and communication skills when interacting with clients and colleagues.
Required Experience & Qualifications (Essential)
* Air Conditioning Service Engineer: 3 years minimum (Required)
* Maintenance Engineer: 1 year minimum (Required)
* Valid CSCS / FGAS Certification
* City & Guilds 6187-21 – Hydrocarbon Refrigerants
* NVQ Level 2 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
* FGAS
* Proven experience in the field
* A clean, valid UK driving license (held for at least 1 year)
* Willingness to travel (approx. 25% preferred)
* Ability to identify and solve problems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Presentable, confident, and a good communicator
Desirable Qualifications (Beneficial)
* IPAF Certification
* PASMA Certification
* NVQ Level 3 Air Conditioning and Refrigeration or equivalent
* Basic knowledge of electrical testing and fault diagnosis
