Senior Legal Technologist

About the role:
I’m working with an award-winning law firm that’s growing its technology innovation team, and they're looking for a Senior Legal Technologist to bridge the gap between legal technology and client service delivery.
The role is focused on process improvement and automation, and you’d be collaborating closely with solicitors and clients to adopt and implement new technologies like GenAI, no-code platforms, and document analytics.
This is a hybrid position based in central Bristol, with an expectation to be in the office 2-3 times a week.
Responsibilities:
* Leading and supporting technology innovation projects focused on client collaboration and process improvement.
* Translating legal and client requirements into smart, technology-enabled solutions
* Advising lawyers and clients on the use of tools like Harvey, Legora, HighQ, Contract Express, and Luminance.
* Championing automation, analytics, and no-code platforms across the firm.
* Collaborating with project managers, IT specialists, and legal teams to deliver change initiatives.
* Promoting innovation internally and externally through workshops, events, and thought leadership.
Requirements:
* A strong legal background and experience in working within a law firm or legal environment.
* Expert knowledge of legal technology solutions (document automation, AI/ML, workflow or no-code tools).
* Demonstrable experience in improving legal processes through technology.
* Collaborative, client-focused, and the ability to autonomously lead workshops or innovation projects.
* Excellent communicaton skills with the ability to translate legal/technical concepts.
