Career Teachers are seeking a qualified Teacher (QTS / QTLS) with experience of teaching Business Studies at KS4 and 5, for an educational establishment based in Shropshire. This is a part-time role (0.6) to start September 2024.
You will be working in a vibrant and inclusive school who are dedicated to academic excellence and nurturing the curiosity and growth of their students. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Business Studies Teacher to inspire students through engaging and comprehensive Business Studies lessons, preparing them for academic success and lifelong learning. This position involves teaching Business Studies to students at GCSE and A Level.
As a Business Studies Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to students of varying abilities. You will create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Your enthusiasm and expertise will help students achieve their potential and develop a lifelong passion for Business Studies.
Qualifications & Requirements:
* A Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies
* Teaching certificate and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS)
* Right to work in the UK.
* Experience teaching Business Studies at KS4-5
* A passion for teaching and a commitment to student achievement
* Hold an enhanced child workforce DBS check on the update service or be willing to undertake a new one.
* Have up-to-date safeguarding training; Career Teachers offer FREE online Safeguarding training
* Provide a full 10-year career history and references to cover the last 2 years including current and previous employers.
