SEMH Teaching Assistant – Primary School Location: North Manchester Start Date: Immediate Agency: Teaching Personnel We are seeking a dedicated SEMH Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming small primary school in North Manchester. This role involves supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, including those who may present with challenging behaviour. This opportunity is well‑suited to someone who is calm under pressure, resilient, and confident in providing consistent boundaries, emotional support, and positive behaviour interventions. About the Role As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils to access learning, regulate emotions, and develop positive relationships throughout the school day. You will be a key part of the support system during moments of dysregulation, helping pupils feel safe, understood, and ready to learn.
