We are looking for a passionate and ambitious Assistant Cook who will prepare nutritionally balanced, freshly prepared meals and be responsible for the safe and hygienic management of the nursery kitchen.

About the job:
1. Provide balanced and nutritional meals for all children attending the nursery and cater to children with specific dietary needs.
2. Instill Storal Values related to Food and Hygiene and ensure compliance with the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health - Food Safety, Health and Safety, and Ofsted guidelines.
3. Ensure all children are kept safe and have rich, stimulating experiences.
4. Maintain stock levels and ensure proper stock rotation.
5. Be aware of COSHH and follow relevant guidelines.
6. Deputise for the Cook in all absences, with the expectation of deputising full-time when required.
About you:
1. Level 2 Food and Hygiene certification.
2. Minimum of 6 months experience in a similar role.
3. Understanding of Health and Safety regulations and COSHH.
4. Ability to reflect Storal values such as responsibility, openness, and teamwork.
