We’re on the hunt for a Chef/Kitchen Manager to lead the charge at a destination community pub in Nash, just outside Newport, with big ambitions, a shiny new kitchen (almost), and a hunger for proper food made by someone who knows their onions.
You’ll be:
* Running the kitchen like a boss (because you are one)
* Designing menus that make people say “Ooh I’ll have that!”
* Keeping calm when 3 roasts, 4 burgers, and a vegan curry all get ordered at once
* Managing stock, suppliers, hygiene, and your team like a culinary ninja
* Occasionally laughing at the landlord’s jokes (not essential, but helpful)
We’re looking for someone who:
* Has experience running a pub kitchen or similar
* Isn’t afraid of a busy service or a broken fryer
* Cares about food, not just fuel
* Can handle being called “Chef!” 63 times in one lunch service
* Has ideas, energy, and a bit of common sense
