About the Opportunity – Presales Solution Architect
Atos has returned to growth and, in 2026, our Applications business has a significant and varied pipeline. To ensure we continue to win and grow, our Pre‑sales function is now expanding. If this is your area of expertise, you will have the opportunity to work on, lead and be part of a variety of bids and submissions across the public and private sectors.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of partners and SMEs who form our ecosystem for collaborative working, ensuring you are able to propose best‑in‑class solutions for our customers.
Arriving with a fresh mindset and knowledge in one area of our digital applications business, your scope will soon expand across each of our offerings such as DAS. Bids may range from £10–100 m+ and the opportunity to contribute significantly to our success with these is immediate.
As a Pre‑sales Solutions Architect – Applications, you’ll lead the design of end‑to‑end solutions that align with customer business objectives. You’ll collaborate with presales teams, shape complex technical and business offerings, and present them clearly.
Success in this role requires building customer confidence in Atos’ expertise, guiding teams to deliver best‑fit solutions, and outstanding bid writing. Strong leadership, technical insight, and the ability to translate business needs into value‑driven solutions are essential.
Your Responsibilities
* Deliver end‑to‑end solutions and bids for global customers, focusing on application development and maintenance services.
* Act as a subject‑matter expert within the DAS portfolio, analysing business requirements and designing optimal solutions.
* Lead presales and bid activities including proposal writing, cost estimation, presentations, customer interactions, and smooth handover to delivery teams.
Our Requirements
* Proven presales experience in an IT / Technology organisation, with strong cross‑functional collaboration skills.
* Expert knowledge of application architecture and delivery methodologies (TOGAF, Agile, DevSecOps, ITIL) plus database, web, and management best practices.
* Strong communication and proposal skills, including owning and writing RFP/ITT responses, presenting solutions.

Note
This role is UK‑based and offers remote working, with occasional UK domestic travel as required. The successful candidate should hold or be capable of obtaining SC clearance to work with UK public sector organisations.
