The Role: We are currently recruiting an experienced and compassionate Female Healthcare Assistant to support a young client with complex care needs during night shifts. This is a rewarding role for someone with a genuine passion for providing high-quality care. You will work closely with the child’s family and the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, person-centred care while supporting emotional well-being and development. Comprehensive in-house training and an induction programme will be provided, led by our Nurse Manager, to ensure you are fully equipped with the skills and knowledge required to deliver the highest standard of care. Key responsibilities include: Pallister-Killian syndrome with epilepsy and autonomic dysfunction Scoliosis, reflux, vomiting, and visual impairment Follow advanced care plan regarding resuscitation Monitor oxygen saturation and heart rate Manage oral secretions with suctioning Administer nebulised/oral medications and buccal midazolam for seizures Care for PEG-J tube (jejunal feeding and drainage) Use hoisting and postural management equipment for safe transfers Support personal care and monitor skin integrity Available Shift Patterns: Wednesday – 22:00 – 07:00 Essential: Knowledge of infection control, experience with scoliosis, oxygen therapy, enteral feeding, visual impairment, epilepsy and experience in paediatric complex care. Work closely with the Nurse Manager Team to provide quality care to a paediatric client. Commit to a regular working pattern and collaborate with Care Coordinators for effective care delivery. Build rapport with clients and families, working within the family home to achieve individual goals. Potential for growth and development into a supervisor or management role. Requirements Experience in paediatric complex care Experience in delivering care to complex clients, preferably in the community. Experience in Oxygen Therapy, Enteral Feeding, Epilepsy and Scoliosis is preferred Right to work in the UK. UK driving license and access to own vehicle.
