The Queen Elizabeth Academy is seeking an effective and professional SENDCO to promote a strong, positive culture, ensuring a safe, calm and purposeful environment for all. You will be joining a dynamic and exciting team, creating a culture of outstanding success amongst our students.
The successful candidate will have knowledge and understanding of the commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children and young people and up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and guidance. The SENDCO will ensure that the academy meets its statutory commitment in relation to SEND, secure and manage SEND funding and assess and plan the academy's SEND provision to ensure it meets the needs of all students; this will include the training and development of all staff. As a valued leader, you will use your sphere of influence to lead by example and consistently embody our high expectations at The Queen Elizabeth Academy.

You will work collaboratively with other senior leaders and the Deputy SENDCo to ensure all aspects of SEND provision are planned, delivered and reviewed, securing a strong and effective provision.

The Queen Elizabeth Academy is part of the Academy Transformation Trust family of academies.
We are located in the historic North Warwickshire town of Atherstone. The school's traditions are founded upon the opening of the original Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in 1573.
