About the Role
We are seeking an experienced professional to lead the delivery of mechanical and electrical maintenance operations across a large, complex site. This Engineering Manager role is responsible for managing planned and reactive maintenance, driving asset strategy, and leading a high-performing engineering team to ensure operational excellence.
The Engineering Manager will play a key role in developing best practice, supporting strategic site objectives, and ensuring compliance with all health, safety, and quality standards. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead planned and reactive maintenance activities across site services
* Manage and develop a team of engineering professionals
* Oversee asset planning and support long-term site development strategy
* Coordinate daily team activities, scheduling, and performance management
* Manage contractors and service partners to ensure safe and effective delivery
* Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives
* Ensure compliance with QHSE standards and operational requirements
* Support budgeting, forecasting, and cost control for maintenance operations
* Oversee CMMS and asset management systems performance
* Collaborate with stakeholders to improve service delivery and efficiency
* Identify and resolve technical and operational issues
Requirements
* Qualified in a Engineering discipline, Building Services, or related discipline
* Proven experience in building services or engineering maintenance
* Previous leadership or supervisory experience
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems
* Experience managing contractors and vendor relationships
* Understanding of QHSE and compliance requirements
* Excellent organisational and communication skills
* Experience using CMMS systems and Microsoft Office
* Background in manufacturing, production, or logistics environments desirable
