Acorn by Synergie is recruiting Drivers Mate for a well-known distribution business in Newport. This is a temp-to-perm role ideal for drivers mate who enjoy delivering excellent customer service and working as part of a supportive team.
Contract and Hours
* Contract: Temp to permanent
* Hours: Monday to Friday, 12pm-9pm
* No weekend work
* Minimum 8 hours pay guaranteed per day
* Pay: £12.21 per hour PAYE.
Key Responsibilities
* Work as part of a 2-person delivery team
* Complete multi-drop deliveries of pre-built furniture across South Wales
* Deliver items to customers' room of choice
* Perform manual handling safely and efficiently
Candidate Requirements
* Valid Cat B driving licence
* Ability to carry out manual handling safely
* Strong customer service skills
* Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
