Robert Half Accountancy and Finance is partnering with a fast-growing, forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Leeds to recruit a motivated and ambitious Accounts Assistant. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone early in their finance career who is looking to develop, take ownership, and progress quickly within a supportive environment.
The Role:
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day finance function, gaining exposure across all areas while working closely with a knowledgeable finance team.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Processing purchase and sales invoices
2. Supporting with bank reconciliations and cash posting
3. Assisting with month-end close and management accounts
4. Managing supplier queries and reconciliations
5. Supporting credit control and collections
6. Getting involved in process improvements and ad hoc projects
About You:
7. Ambitious, driven, and keen to build a career in finance
8. Previous Accounts Assistant experience in a similar role
9. Ideally studying (AAT / ACCA / CIMA) or planning to start
10. Strong attention to detail with good organisational skills
11. Confident communicator with a proactive approach
