The role You’ll be supporting pupils within the specialist resource base, working closely with teachers and the wider team to help children access learning in a way that works for them. Your day-to-day will include: Supporting children 1:1 and in small groups Helping pupils engage with learning through adapted and personalised approaches Using strategies to support communication, including working with non-verbal learners Encouraging social interaction, independence, and confidence Contributing to a calm, structured, and positive learning environment Working collaboratively with staff, families, and external professionals What you’ll gain This role is perfect if you’re passionate about SEND or thinking about a long-term career in education.
