Key Responsibilities: ✅ Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring a high standard of childcare. ✅ Manage and support a team of staff, fostering a positive and motivated work environment. ✅ Maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and carers to ensure a welcoming, inclusive setting. ✅ Monitor and enhance the quality of provision, ensuring policies, procedures, and best practices are upheld. ✅ Take responsibility for financial management, occupancy levels, and meeting set targets. ✅ Lead on planning and organising engaging daily activities that promote child development. ✅ Be responsible for key children, including observations, assessments, and individual learning plans. ✅ Ensure a safe, clean, and high-quality environment that meets all health and safety requirements. ✅ Liaise with external agencies and professionals as needed to support children’s development. ✅ Support staff development through training and performance monitoring. Requirements for this role: ✔ A passionate, dedicated, and experienced childcare professional. ✔ Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in a nursery or early years setting. ✔ A commitment to maintaining high standards of care and education. ✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with children, staff, and parents. ✔ A Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education or a related field.
