Job Description for NHS Dental Treatment Provider
To provide routine NHS dental treatment to patients referred to the community Dental services specialties of paediatric and special care dentistry.
Position Details:
* Full-time or part-time applicants considered.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Provide dental care to patient groups within the remit of Salford Community Dental Service, especially those requiring paediatric and special care dentistry.
2. Provide domiciliary care and inhalation sedation to patients referred to Salford Community Dental Service.
3. Collaborate with senior colleagues to provide care under general anaesthesia at Salford Royal Hospital.
4. Deliver care across various premises.
5. Manage working arrangements and uphold standards at the clinic providing clinical services.
6. Maintain high standards of clinical and professional behaviour as required by Salford Community Dental Service.
7. Keep records of ongoing professional education and development.
8. Communicate positively and effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
9. Engage in constructive feedback exchange.
Qualifications and Skills:
The post holder must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to liaise effectively with a range of individuals including senior managers, medical and dental consultants, primary care practitioners, health and social care professionals, patients, and their families or carers.
