Service Technician – Marshall Honda Reading
Salary: £36,557 Basic plus OTE £45,361. Based on individual time saved, team profit, and CSI Bonus.
Hours: 45-hour working week with weekends on a rota basis.
Benefits: 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, life assurance, and pension scheme.

The role
As a skilled technician, you will join a team supporting one of our popular brands in state-of-the-art facilities. Full manufacturer training is provided, so prior brand experience is not necessary. You will receive regular manufacturer-specific training to stay up-to-date with the latest technology through both manufacturer training and our Marshall Academy.
Who you are
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic with the ability to work at pace.
* A team player comfortable operating with set processes and procedures.
* A qualified Vehicle Technician with an industry-recognized qualification, ideally Level 3, but Level 2 will be considered (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent).
* Ability to carry out MOTs is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
* Motivated, dedicated, organized, with a focus on Health & Safety.
* Tech-savvy and confident using iPad software.
What you’ll do
* Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles across the brand.
* Perform electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work in line with brand parameters.
* Conduct vehicle maintenance tasks such as oil and filter changes.
* Complete job cards and electronic write-ups on franchise platforms.
* Perform electronic vehicle health checks (eVHCs).
* Support Apprentice Technicians as required.
