Consultant Rheumatologist
The NHS Lanarkshire University Hospital Wishaw is seeking a Consultant Rheumatologist to join our team. This role is offered on a 7 PA basis, with options for fewer hours or additional SPA time for service improvement, teaching, research or educational activities.
Responsibilities
* Provide specialist rheumatology care for patients across NHS Lanarkshire's acute hospital sites and community settings.
* Manage and support rheumatology patients in partnership with specialist nurses and allied health professionals.
* Lead and participate in quality improvement, patient safety initiatives, and educational activities.
* Contribute to research and development projects within the rheumatology service.
Qualifications & Experience
* Consultant-level certification in Rheumatology.
* Experience in delivering specialist rheumatology services within a hospital setting.
* Commitment to teaching and research as valued by the University of Glasgow.
* Strong interest in driving service improvement and quality initiatives.
