Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract, reporting into the Supply Chain & Merchandising Portfolio Manager.
The project manager will be responsible for the delivery of projects within the Supply Chain and Merchandising technology team in Europe and play an instrumental role in the D365 ERP Transformation project across Europe. They will coordinate and manage projects to ensure they’re delivered on time and within budget.
This role is offering a hybrid working contract that will require regular travel commitment as required and as such a good degree of self-motivation and flexibility is required.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
* Lead, plan and manage the delivery of requirements ensuring scope is maintained and delivers to the objectives outlined by the sponsor.
* Ensure project delivery meets governance standards i.e. adherence to project delivery methodology, RAID logs etc.
* Project stakeholder management.
* Ensure personal knowledge and exposure to business change opportunities remains up to date, appropriate and relevant.
* The role sits at the heart of the project delivery lifecycle and is responsible implementation of solutions and successful transition into BAU service operations. The role is accountable for the project being delivered to the time, scope and budget.
* Projects will be delivered using the defined European PMO project delivery methodology.
About you:
As a Project Manager you will have end to end Project Management experience in the delivery of complex technical projects in a fast paced/time critical environment, for example, demand planning, transportation, supply chain, vendor engagement solutions. You will also have a detailed understanding of business processes, stakeholder management and management of multiple 3rd party system integrators. To be successful in this role you will have change management experience, coupled with experience of deploying technologies across multiple sites and projects using Agile and Waterfall methodologies. It’s essential to have strong presentation and communication skills for this role so a good understanding of Microsoft Office suite is needed. You will also negotiate and build consensus whilst influencing team members and have a knowledge of D365.
