Infrastructure Engineer

About the Role
We are partnering with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy to recruit an experienced Infrastructure Engineer for their well-regarded Infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide variety of impactful projects across the UK in sectors including Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Housing, Industrial, Leisure, and Residential.
As part of a collaborative and experienced team, you will contribute to the full project lifecycle—from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and contribute to feasibility studies, helping shape project masterplans and informing design decisions.
* Deliver infrastructure designs for highways, drainage, earthworks, and flood risk assessments in line with current legislation and industry standards.
* Collaborate with in-house professionals and external consultants across disciplines.
* Support work-winning activities and assist in workload and budget management.
* Ensure designs meet Section 38, 278, and 104 adoption requirements.

What We’re Looking For
* Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering (BEng, MEng, BSc, MSc, HND, or HNC)
* Working knowledge of UK planning processes and infrastructure standards
* Proficient in MicroDrainage, Flow, and AutoCAD
* Solid experience in drainage, highways, and level design
* Collaborative mindset with a passion for engineering excellence
