At Hightown, we`re a housing charity that builds homes and support people.
We are recruiting for Care Assistants, Assistant Support Workers and Support Workers to join our team who have the right values, behaviours, and attitudes to be the difference to someone's lives. We provide high-quality care and support to adults with learning and physical disabilities, .
We will be inviting shortlisted applicants to a recruitment event on Monday 29th April 2024 in Newton Longville, where you can meet the team and be considered for one of our vacancies.
Locations we are recruiting to:
* Litslade Farm, 2 Bletchley Road, Newton Longville, MK17 0AD (0700/1500 & 1400/2200 shifts)
* Barn Close, Gawcott, MK18 4JH, 0700/1500 & 1400/2200 shifts
* Close, Wing, LU7 ONZ 8am to 8pm shift coverage
* Road, Winslow, MK18 3BN (One sleep in per week required c£50 allowance / plus shifts.

We have a range of permanent full and part time roles available (22.5 hours, 30 hours & 37.5 hours per week).
Typical shift rotas are 0700 to 1500 / 1400 to 2200 including some weekend working.
About the Role
You`ll be empowering our service users to lead the life they want and you`ll support them to get involved with the community and maintain relationships with their friends and families. They enjoy visiting the local cinema, attending church and taking part in activities at the local leisure centre.
You`ll join a strong, supportive team who are great communicators and able to engage with our residents who are mainly nonverbal or who have limited verbal communication skills. As part of the role you will be required to provide personal care and support with eating and drinking. It is a challenging but rewarding role where you can really be the difference to someone`s life.
To be considered for this role you will need to be able to work in the uk (between 22.5 & 37.5 hours without restrictions) and have a valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work purposes. Additionally, you will be comfortable with providing personal care for our residents (toilet/dressing etc).
