Job Description
The key responsibilities of the Finance Assistant include:
3. Manage and monitor customer accounts to ensure timely payment of invoices
4. Allocate incoming payments accurately and reconcile customer accounts
5. Support with credit checks and setting up new customer accounts
6. Resolve customer queries related to invoices and statements in a professional and timely manner
7. Assist with month-end processes including aged debtor reporting
8. Liaise with internal departments to support smooth order-to-cash operations
9. Provide general support to the finance team as required
The Successful Applicant
The successful Finance Assistant should have:
10. Previous experience in accounts receivable, credit control, or general finance admin
11. Strong attention to detail and confidence handling numerical data
12. Excellent communication skills, especially when dealing with customers and internal teams
13. Organised, proactive, and able to manage workload independently
14. Experience with finance/ERP systems and Excel is desirable
15. A team player who's adaptable and eager to learn
