Contract: 4-5 days per week, Long-Term Role

Empowering Learning is proud to partner with a supportive secondary school in South Birmingham. We are recruiting a flexible, passionate History Teacher to join the team on a long-term basis, teaching History and Government & Politics across KS3-KS5, as well as leading a form class.

As a History Teacher, your role will involve but not limited to:
Delivering high-quality History and Government & Politics lessons across KS3-KS5
Leading a form class and supporting pupils' pastoral development
Maintaining high expectations for pupil behaviour and engagement
Collaborating with teaching assistants and other staff
We're looking for adaptable educators ready to make a long-term impact in classrooms and within the wider school community.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Early Career Teachers (ECTs) encouraged to apply
Experience teaching History and/or Government & Politics at KS3-KS5
Ability to lead and manage a form group effectively
Recent School experience
A DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain)
