We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our Travel Office, supporting both domestic and international business travel across the JCB Group.
About the role
Providing key administrative support within the Travel Office, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring smooth, efficient and compliant travel arrangements for colleagues across the business. You’ll act as a trusted point of contact, delivering a high-quality service while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external providers.
What does this role involve day to day?
* You’ll act as an ambassador for JCB and the Travel Office
* You’ll organise travel requests including flights, rail, hotels and car hire
* You’ll handle and track visa applications, 2nd passports and passport renewals
* You’ll apply travel policies and procedures consistently and fairly
* You’ll liaise with travel providers and internal departments
* You’ll handle incoming calls, messages and general enquiries
* You’ll ensure GDPR compliance across all filing systems (paper and electronic)
* You’ll raise purchase orders via SAP & Ariba and manage cost centre recharges
* You’ll support collaboration with the Aviation Department and wider teams
* You’ll identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance service delivery
This will be suited to you if…
* You have proven administrative experience in a fast‑paced environment
* You have strong organisational skills and can manage multiple priorities
* You are highly detail‑oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
* You are confident using systems and Microsoft Office to produce reports and analyse data
* You are a strong communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
* You are customer‑focused with a passion for continuous improvement
* You are proactive, flexible and a strong team player
* You are comfortable working in an agile and sometimes reactive environment
* You demonstrate integrity and professionalism in everything you do
What happens next?
Ordinarily, our Resourcing Team reviews and shortlists CVs. If shortlisted, you’ll speak to one of our Recruiters to discuss the role further.
