Job Summary

Duties
* Assist the Store/Restaurant Manager in supervising day-to-day restaurant operations.
* Support staff in delivering exceptional customer service and handling guest concerns promptly.
* Oversee food preparation and presentation to maintain quality and consistency.
* Monitor inventory levels, assist in ordering supplies, and control waste to optimize costs.
* Train, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve performance goals.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene regulations.
* Help manage scheduling, shift coverage, and timekeeping for staff.
* Assist in tracking sales, preparing reports, and driving initiatives to boost revenue.
* Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Store/Restaurant Manager.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a supervisory or management role within the food or hospitality industry is highly preferred.
* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire and guide a team.
* Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including food safety and customer service standards.
* Basic financial knowledge, including cash handling, sales reporting, and inventory management.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure with a positive attitude.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills.
* A proactive approach with a willingness to take initiative and solve problems effectively.
Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract
Pay: £11.44-£12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 40 per week
