About the Role
6. Assisting in the development and auditing of the Quality Management System
7. Supplier and product qualification - local and international
8. Have the ability to use statistical methods to fault find & support solutions to technical issues, including but not limited to use of control plans and standard operating procedures
9. Be responsible for assuring bought in products meet quality specific sign-off criteria, working with suppliers when issues arise
10. Where non–conformance exists, use initiative to introduce suitable manufacturing containment actions while working with the supply base (internal or external) & technical personnel to achieve long-term solutions for quality from root-cause analysis
11. Support day to day operations to ensure there in minimum impact to production as a result of quality related issues and attend regular meetings giving details of quality trends and actions
12. Support NPPD within the factory from design review stage through to prototype build. Be actively involved in every stage of the process to help guarantee its success
13. Support Quality inspectors in day to day duties including but not limited to quality investigations, problem solves and continuous improvement
14. Responding to customer queries
15. Supplier auditing
About you
16. Engineering Qualification or equivalent experience in an Engineering/Manufacturing environment with quality/supplier quality experience
17. A proven track record of experience working in a manufacturing environment covering both fabrication and assembly disciplines
18. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control and problem-solving techniques utilized throughout the manufacturing industry
19. Excellent communication skills
20. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
21. Experience of supplier management
22. Experience of supervising others
23. Internal and external audit certification
24. Experience in maintaining a Quality Management System
25. Experience in New product introduction and advanced product quality planning
26. Experience in dealing with customers
