Full-Time Cover Supervisor – Secondary School in Andover
Start Date: After Easter – Summer Term Contract Pay: £110 – £130 per day (depending on experience) Location: Andover
We are seeking a confident, adaptable and motivated Cover Supervisor to join a secondary school in Andover for the full summer term. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break and running until July, offering an excellent opportunity for someone looking to gain valuable experience in education or progress towards a teaching career.
About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain focused and complete the work provided. You will work across a range of subjects and year groups, supporting the smooth running of the school day and maintaining a positive learning environment.
This role is ideal for graduates, aspiring teachers, or individuals with experience working with young people who are looking to develop their classroom skills.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising students in the absence of their usual teacher
Ensuring work is completed and students stay on task
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Supporting students with their learning where appropriate
Adapting confidently to different subjects and year groups
Contributing to a calm, purposeful and respectful school environment

Requirements
A degree is preferred but not essential
