We’re the market leader in the UK fresh prepared food industry - supplying meals, salads, desserts, pizza and bread to leading grocery retailers including Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury’s and Waitrose. About the role. Record-To-Report (RTR) Accountant role is to be responsible for the day-to-day processing of accounting activities, closing, intercompany, reporting, and other related services in line with the relevant accounting standards and GAAP requirements. The role involves transactional processing based on the allocation by Senior Accountant / Team Lead / Manager and following SOPs to execute the tasks within agreed SLAs and KPIs. The responsibilities include: General Accounting such as prepare and post approved journal entries (based on journal policies) to record various financial transactions in accordance with the established SOPs Cost / Inventory Accounting Fixed Asset Accounting Intercompany including collecting and/or preparing appropriate supporting documents for all intercompany invoices and transactions Period End Close Query Resolution Audit and Internal Control Communication and Change Management About you. Ideally, you will have previous experience within a similar role and a sound understanding of the end-to-end RTR process – a history of working with ERP systems, specifically with SAP S/4 HANA would be highly desirable. In progress of completing a Professional Accounting Qualification (e.g., ACA/ACCA/CIMA) Working knowledge of UK adopted International Accounting Standards and relevant UK GAAP requirement What you’ll receive.
