Job Description
3. Raising sales invoices and credit notes
4. Allocating receipts to the invoices raised
5. Reconciliation of sales ledger accounts
6. Reconciliation of expenses
7. Management and reconciliation of petty cash
8. Posting cash book receipts
9. Cashbook reconciliation
10. Purchase Ledger support
11. Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with policies
12. Collaborate with team members to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
13. Respond to internal and external financial queries in a timely manner.
14. Ensure confidentiality and security of financial data at all times.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Finance Assistant should have:
15. Experience working in a similar role
16. Proficiency in financial software
17. Strong Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables)
18. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
19. The ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
20. Good communication skills for liaising with colleagues and external partners.
21. A proactive approach to identifying and solving financial issues.
22. Enthusiasm and strong desire to improve processes and results driven focus
