The Role:
GAP Pump & Power Services Division provides advice, servicing, maintenance, and repair for generators, dewatering, and sewerage pump applications. This includes a large range of hoses, settlement tanks, and water processing solutions.
The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for maximizing the profitability and effectiveness of the Pump & Power depots within the dedicated region. This includes recruiting, monitoring, and managing staff performance. You will strive to ensure complete customer satisfaction by providing high-quality service, equipment, premises, and people.
Managing the General Managers within the division, you will also produce accurate monthly KPI reports, identify depot operation failings, and provide solutions for improvement.
This role will cover our Pumps North region, so candidates must be prepared for frequent travel between Durham, Leeds, Lincoln, Warrington, Harthill, and Elgin. Candidates across this region will be considered.
About You
Successful candidates should demonstrate:
* Significant experience managing and driving profitability within the hire industry, ideally with a background in Pumps/Power/Water Treatment
* Exceptional leadership skills to motivate and develop teams
* In-depth understanding of customer success and retention strategies
* Excellent communication and organizational skills with a pragmatic problem-solving approach
* Driving License (essential)
