You will work closely with staff, management, and external stakeholders to create a safe, nurturing, and development-focused environment for children in our care. Key Responsibilities: Act as the Responsible Individual in line with Ofsted regulations, ensuring homes are compliant with statutory requirements and safeguarding standards. Provide leadership, support, and guidance to home managers and staff to ensure the delivery of high-quality care. Oversee operational performance, including monitoring care plans, risk assessments, and quality assurance processes. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and professional development within the homes. Engage with children, families, and external agencies to promote positive outcomes and ensure effective communication. Support recruitment, training, and performance management of care staff. Ensure that policies, procedures, and practices are up to date, implemented effectively, and reflect best practice. Essential Requirements: Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Young People’s Services Proven experience in leadership and management within children’s residential care. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, safeguarding, and Ofsted regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
