Summary Under supervision, the EEG Technologist is responsible for the performance of standard and complex recordings to include pediatric and ambulatory EEGs and END’s. Will cover both inpatient and outpatient studies. Minimum Education Associates degree in Health Sciences or equivalent combination of education and experience. Completion of appropriate EEG or EMG training program and clinical experience as determined by institution. Minimum Work Experience 1 to 2 years prior EEG experience preferred. Prior EMG experience preferred. Required Licenses/Certifications Registry eligible in EEG; to be obtained within two years of employment. Registry credential in NCV desired. BLS Certification through American Heart Association. * *Or obtained upon hire. Required Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities Demonstrates working knowledge of EEG/EMG equipment. Demonstrates working knowledge of infection control. Demonstrates safe, knowledgeable practice skills based on theory and consistent with Policies and Procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Basic Microsoft Windows desktop application and navigation skills. Pay Range = $27.31 - $40.38 PM24
