We have some exciting opportunities for individuals with a real can-do attitude to join our education systems team, working on projects for SEND, Early Years, and exclusions, just to name a few.

We are looking for Education Systems Development Officers to join a motivated, solution-focused team that provides business advice, guidance, and technical support on our education systems: Capita One, ChildView, EHCP Hub, and other related systems to support our education teams in ensuring better outcomes for children.

This post is fixed-term for 12 months.


Main Responsibilities

You will:

* Work with all stakeholders (internal and external) to map out business processes and statutory requirements.
* Identify how the main education systems should be developed to support these processes (through recording, monitoring, performance, and management information, etc.).
* Collaborate with others to develop action plans for improvement and oversee their delivery.
* Carry out technical setup work on systems as required to meet business needs.
* Develop excellent working relationships with all stakeholders to facilitate business process improvements aligned with the strategic goals of the organization.
* Ensure data quality in the system by working with team members and management to maintain accurate management information.
* Develop and document process notes.
* Provide advice and guidance to system users to ensure effective and efficient system use.


The Ideal Candidate

You will have:

* Good communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues and external contacts via phone, in person, and email.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to meet deadlines.
* A flexible approach to work to adapt to changing priorities and tasks.
* A passion for delivering excellent service.
* Full knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 applications and the ability to utilize them effectively.

You will primarily be office-based, with some home working arranged on a rota basis depending on service demands.
