What You’ll Be Doing
* Provide support to children with severe or profound learning difficulties and complex needs
* Foster a positive and nurturing environment
* Assist in implementing individualised education plans
* Assist in supervising and facilitating educational activities for individual and small groups of pupils
* Support pupils in accessing the curriculum and promoting their progress and achievement
* Collaborate with teachers and other staff members
* Participate in training sessions and staff meetings
* Celebrate the small successes and milestones of each child
About You
* Be able to do the job as described
* Experience of working with pupils in a care or education setting, particularly those with SEN
* Nurturing and empathetic nature
* Adaptable and collaborative team player
* Proactive in assisting with classroom organization and resource preparation
* Comfortable covering classes or groups in the absence of the Teacher or lead
