Project Coordinator/Manager - Furniture
Location: Northampton (Office-based, with site visits)
Salary: £35k bonus scheme
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
Holiday: 20 days plus 8 bank holidays
Are you an experienced Project Coordinator/Manager with a background in furniture, construction or interiors – and ready to lead projects from concept to completion?
We’re looking for someone organised, proactive and confident to join our growing team in Northampton. This is a brilliant opportunity to step into a leadership role at a market-leading interiors business, working in a fast-paced and progressive team delivering bespoke design and installation projects across the UK. You’ll take full ownership of projects from planning through to delivery, leading our Project Support team and acting as the central point of contact for clients, suppliers, internal teams and installation crews. This hands-on role covers everything from site surveys and resource planning to logistics support and supplier coordination – with a strong focus on communication, process improvement and keeping everything on time, on budget and on brief.
Key responsibilities
* Create and manage detailed project plans, timelines and budgets
* Schedule resources, including labour and subcontractors
* Work closely with logistics to maintain warehouse and delivery processes
* Lead project meetings, updates and internal communications
* Track progress and resolve project-related issues as they arise
* Act as the key contact for clients and installation teams throughout the project lifecycle
* Conduct site surveys, kick-off meetings and project handovers where needed
* Manage the Project Support team and assist with wider office operations
Essential skills and experience:
* Previous experience in project management or coordination
* A background in customer service
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Confident using Microsoft 365 – including Excel, Teams and SharePoint
* Experience managing or leading a team
* Full UK driving licence (site visits will be required)
