First for Education are seeking a passionate Secondary English Teacher to join one of our fantastic partner secondary schools in the Birmingham area. This opportunity is ideal for a motivated and creative teacher who wants to inspire a love for English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4.
The Role
As a Secondary English Teacher, you will:

Plan and deliver engaging lessons for English Language and Literature.

Support students of mixed abilities and help them reach their potential.
*
Prepare learners for GCSE exams and monitor academic progress.
*
Create a classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence.
*
Work collaboratively with colleagues to share best practice.
What We’re Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.
*
Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature.
*
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
*
A passion for motivating students to achieve their best.
*
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
