Responsibilities
* Review incoming claims for completeness and accuracy.
* Process claims by entering data into the system and verifying information.
* Communicate with clients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary documentation.
* Maintain organised records of all claims processed and follow up on outstanding claims.
* Identify discrepancies or issues within claims and resolve them promptly.
* Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and company policies throughout the claims process.
* Assist in the preparation of reports related to claims processing metrics.
Qualifications
* Proven organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong clerical skills, including data entry and record keeping.
* Excellent attention to detail to ensure accuracy in processing claims.
* Proficient in using computer systems and software applications relevant to claims processing.
* Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
* Previous experience in a similar role or within the insurance industry is advantageous but not essential.
