Job Description
3. Acting as a first point of contact for the department, dealing with routine enquiries in a pleasant and helpful manner, communicating relevant information and referring to other team members as appropriate.
4. Providing a sensitive and efficient administrative support for the department and maintaining confidentiality of information relating to service users.
5. To book appointments following service standards. This will require having direct contact with distressed and anxious patients and their relatives, treating them with tact and dignity at all times.
6. Accurate and timely inputting onto department database, maintaining data storage and archiving of data as required and in accordance with procedures.
7. To arrange and prepare for Multi-Disciplinary Meetings, including the gathering and collation of relevant documentation.
8. Photocopying scanning and word processing documents, letters, emails, minutes, and reports as and when required and in a timely manner.,
The Successful Applicant
A successful Administrator should have:
9. A robust understanding of office management procedures.
10. Excellent organisational and time management skills.
11. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
12. Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software.
13. Experience in handling sensitive information with discretion.
14. Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
