Total of 19.5 hours
Salary: BG2/SCP1 - £24,413 per annum (FTE), approximately £11,168.16 pro rata
(£12.65 per hour)
Holidays - to be taken during school holiday time

We require a School Meal Supervisory Assistant to supervise pupils during the lunch hour to commence as soon as possible. Required from 11.50 – 1.20pm, Monday to Friday during term time only.
We are looking to appoint a reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisor to join our happy support staff team at Holymead Primary School.
The role entails supervising the pupils during their lunch break either outdoors or indoors. The ideal candidate will be committed, energetic, flexible and able to work as part of a team, have high standards and to take pride in the school environment.
You will also be working as a Play Worker for our friendly After School Club based on the junior site from 3:00pm until 6:00pm (Monday to Thursday).
As a Play Worker, your key responsibilities would include: -
•Provide safe high-quality play for children aged 4-11 years of age
•Supervising children attending the afterschool club. Ensuring their safety and well-being.
•Providing appropriate crafts, activities and games for the children to enjoy.
•Assist with the preparation and serving of snacks for the children
•Encourage good behaviour.
•Supporting colleagues with the overall running of the club in line with the club polices and procedure.
•Build links and work in partnership with parents, carers and professionals to promote the safety and well-being of the children that attend
•Maintain confidentiality in and outside of the workplace, and follow the school's Safeguarding Policy
•Be pro-active in matters relating to health and safety and report accidents as required
•Support the aims and ethos of the School setting a good example in terms of behaviour, punctuality and attendance
Previous experience of working with children or an NVQ in Childcare would be desirable but not essential. Applicants must be 17 or over. Full training will be provided.
