Job description
Our client is currently seeking a Registered Building Inspector to join their team within the Berkshire region.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conducting inspections of residential and commercial properties to ensure compliance with building regulations
2. Evaluating building plans, specifications, and materials to assess adherence to regulatory standards
3. Providing expert guidance and advice to clients and contractors on building control matters
4. Issuing certificates of conformity and other necessary documentation upon successful evaluation
5. Maintaining accurate and detailed records of inspections and findings
6. Liaising with other professionals and stakeholders to facilitate smooth project progress
7. Identifying and rectifying any issues related to building control compliance
Job Requirements:
8. Experience in building control with a strong understanding of relevant regulations and standards
9. Proficiency in interpreting building codes and ensuring compliance
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder management
11. Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload efficiently
12. Detail-oriented approach with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
13. Relevant qualification or certification in building control or a related field
