We are looking for a Finance Manager to oversee our central accounting function. The role offers tremendous scope for career development in a highly-entrepreneurial environment.
The Finance Manager will be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations, budgeting, financial planning, and analysis. The role also involves overseeing financial reporting, risk management, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities
* Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, reporting, and budgeting using Xero, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
* Oversee the work of external bookkeepers.
* Oversee VAT returns.
* Prepare and review management accounts.
* Perform bespoke calculations for residential and holiday assets: service charge preparation, rent uplifts, sales invoicing, sales commissions, and utility recharges (not exhaustive).
* Liaise with external auditors and manage year-end processes, ensuring Xero data is audit-ready.
* Provide financial insight and recommendations to support strategic decision making and operational improvements.
* Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and company policies.
* Continuously improve and streamline accounting processes.
* Work with Office Manager on insurance renewals, utility renewals and business rates.
Qualifications
* Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) with proven experience in property finance or related sectors.
* Advanced proficiency in Xero, including reporting, integrations, and automation.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to extract insights from financial data and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
* Experience overseeing accounting functions and ensuring robust accounting treatments.
* Excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
