Job Expectations:
* Generate sales through cold calls, site visits, and existing customers.
* Maintain a positive outlook to maximize sales.
* Build relationships and utilize administrative skills to drive sales.
* Serve as the first contact for maintenance customers, addressing concerns, estimating, and selling equipment.
* Review data, prepare work orders, and track leads and opportunities.
* Build relationships with suppliers and stay informed on industry trends.
* Enhance sales and HVAC knowledge via training and self-study.
* Respond to inquiries and perform sales duties as directed by the Sales Manager.
* Meet sales goals and identify new business opportunities.
* Develop strong relationships with clients, contractors, engineers, and facility managers.
* Conduct site visits, assess HVAC needs, and recommend solutions.
* Prepare proposals, close sales, and negotiate contracts.
* Provide expert advice and post-sale support to ensure customer satisfaction.
Desired Attributes:
* Proven HVAC sales experience, especially with commercial systems.
* Strong lead generation, closing, and relationship skills.
* Excellent communication, problem-solving, and technical skills.
* Knowledge of HVAC standards, codes, and regulations.
* Experience in direct sales and marketing.
* Ability to read blueprints and technical specs.
* Physically capable of working in field conditions.
* Valid North Carolina driver’s license and insurability.
* At least 2 years of post-secondary education in sales, marketing, or related fields.
* Self-motivated, organized, and goal-oriented.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office, Right-Suite, and HVAC software.
