Were looking for a talented and motivated Junior Sous Chef with strong pastry and bakery skills to join our culinary team in a busy client office building in Central London.
This is a varied and creative position supporting both hospitality and staff dining services perfect for a chef who thrives on variety, presentation, and quality.
Youll work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver fresh, seasonal menus, from beautifully presented corporate events to wholesome, balanced daily staff meals.
About the Role
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm with flexibility
Prepare and deliver a range of dishes for both hospitality eventsand staff dining, maintaining consistent quality and presentation.
Lead on pastry and dessert production, from baked items to plated desserts for hospitality functions.
Support daily kitchen operations, including prep, service, and menu development.
Assist with stock management, ordering, and maintaining high food safety standards.
Train and support junior team members, ensuring high standards across all sections.
Contribute creative ideas for menus, with a focus on seasonality and modern presentation.
About you
Proven experience at Chef de Partie or Junior Sous level in a high-quality restaurant, contract catering, or hotel environment.
Strong pastry background confident in desserts, baking, and finishing presentation.
Experience delivering both plated hospitality and volume staff dining menus.
Excellent organisation and communication skills, with a proactive approach.
Knowledge of food safety, HACCP, and allergen management.
A team player with creativity, precision, and a passion for great food.
