5. Proactively support the effective deployment of additional adults to enhance pupil outcomes, ensuring every child receives the nurturing support they require.
6. Possess in-depth knowledge of the new Kent SEND funding model and support strategic planning and implementation, ensuring resources are used effectively to nurture pupil success.
7. Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (or be in the process of obtaining it).
8. Be a trained Mental Health Lead (or willing to undertake the DfE-funded training as part of the role) to nurture the emotional well-being of our pupils.
9. Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children in accordance with KCSIE 2025, creating a nurturing and secure environment for learning.

We offer:

10. A collaborative school culture grounded in inclusion, nurturing, and high expectations.
11. A supportive Leadership Team dedicated to continuous improvement and professional development.
12. Opportunities to work alongside our Senior Leadership Team (SLT) on strategic SEND initiatives that prioritise nurturing every child’s potential.
13. The chance to make a meaningful difference in our federation that values every child’s right to succeed.
14. Access to high-quality Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and leadership advancement.
15. A warm, welcoming community with a strong sense of purpose, committed to nurturing the growth of both pupils and staff where everyone feels valued.

This position requires the successful candidate to work across Seabrook and St Martin's Primary Schools and is for 3 and half days. Candidates can apply either via the Seabrook or the St Martin's Kent Teach advert.
