Base pay range

The Role
The CI Practitioner will actively support the promotion of a continuous improvement culture throughout the business (initially with an increased focus in the production areas). They will support the implementation of the Continuous Improvement strategy and deliver continuous improvement initiatives through active engagement of stakeholders that provide safety, quality, delivery and cost benefits to the organisation.
Working hours: 37 hours per week, Monday-Thursday 07:45-16:15 and Friday, 07:45-12:45.
Working style: Fully onsite.
Responsibilities
* Working closely with the Continuous Improvement Lead to ensure strategic CI objectives are being delivered throughout the business.
* Supporting the implementation of the Genuit Business System (GBS) to support lean transformation.
* Supporting the development and monitoring of Key Performance indicators.
* Identification of where efficiencies, waste reduction and optimisation can be made to improve flow through the facility.
* Facilitating/leading the Implementation of process improvements using defined process improvement methodologies and Kaizen Events.
* Supporting daily management activities and regular production cadence meetings.
* Undertake and supporting problem solving activities using defined problem-solving techniques.
* Provide support and advice around continuous improvement as the subject matter expert.
* Lead/support process mapping activities as required.
* Present process findings/proposals and project updates to stakeholders.
The Person
* Be computer literate, with a working knowledge of MS Office Applications.
* Have the ability to work well under pressure against demanding deadlines.
* Confident in presenting proposals and project updates
* Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve (applying initiative to investigate potential root causes to a problem).
* Good people skills - an available and approachable style, able to gain the respect and trust of team members.
* Numerate, literate and articulate as you will be required to liaise at all levels within the company.
* Desirable: previous CI or project management experience.
