, Bootle, PART TIME – 20 hours per week, up to £18K pro rata + free parking.
This role is within a large international company who specialise in logistics. This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team. Experience in purchasing and management of PPE and the hiring and purchase of tools and equipment is essential. Your role will also include:
1. Receiving order requests for 8 branches via an internal system
2. Liaising with suppliers via email and telephone to negotiate prices
3. Reviewing order forms on bespoke system
4. Sourcing new suppliers
5. Dealing with day-to-day enquiries
The ideal candidate will have upwards of 3 years’ experience in purchasing of tools and equipment. You will also have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal to enable you to communicate with team members and suppliers.
