Senior Group Accountant | Jersey | £45,000 - £55,000 DOE | Permanent
Communicate are partnered with a global consumer goods business as they look to bring on a Senior Group Accountant to take ownership of group financial reporting across its diverse operations. This role is ideal for a qualified finance professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and has strong technical expertise in consolidation, compliance, and leadership.
This is a newly created role which has come about due to growth. The business has a culture of internal promotion and collaboration, and employees have clear career trajectories set out for them.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead preparation of monthly and annual consolidated financial statements
* Manage statutory reporting for all legal entities within the group.
* Ensure timely and accurate financial data consolidation across multiple subsidiaries.
* Handle intercompany reconciliations and adjustments.
* Own the budgeting and forecasting process for shared service cost centres.
* Coordinate the year-end audit process with external auditors.
* Ensure timely submission of quarterly VAT and GST returns across relevant jurisdictions.
* Oversee the review of individual entity tax returns prepared externally.
* Support financial planning, forecasting, and business modelling.
* Assist senior finance leadership with special requests and corporate projects.
Key Requirements
* Qualified or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Strong background in group financial reporting and consolidation.
* Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills.
