What is the job role?
In this role, you’ll provide high-quality clerical and administrative support to keep our services running smoothly. Your day‑to‑day work will include:
1. Carrying out a full range of administrative and clerical tasks to support both teams.
2. Handling telephone and face‑to‑face enquiries, resolving queries where possible and recognising when to escalate more complex issues.
3. Producing a variety of documents through accurate word processing and data entry, and suggesting improvements to templates and formats.
4. Maintaining well‑organised electronic and manual filing systems.
5. Using information systems to provide timely and accurate information, including creating spreadsheets and databases when needed.
6. Keeping up to date with corporate systems and standards and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
7. Training team members on office procedures, systems, and health & safety requirements.
8. Preparing straightforward correspondence and taking minutes when required.
9. Supporting clerical and administrative processes across the service.
10. Raising purchase orders, receipting goods, and processing invoices across multiple systems.
This post is exempted under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and as such appointment to this post will be conditional upon the receipt of a satisfactory response to a check of police records via Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
