Job description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an electrically biased Site Services Engineer, working as part of a team reporting to the Factory Engineering Manager.
This role is integral to supporting our operations by ensuring electrical compliance and completing all electrical activities in line with business objectives, focusing on product safety, quality, and plant performance to ensure safety, efficiency, and delivery.
A day in the life of a Site Services Engineer
Your key responsibilities include ensuring the optimal, cost-effective, and efficient generation and distribution of utilities such as steam, refrigeration, water, effluent treatment, hygienic air handling, and compressed air.
Additional responsibilities:
* Supporting the transition from reactive to preventive maintenance by identifying recurring issues through root cause analysis and developing maintenance improvement plans.
* Coaching and developing the Industrial Services Team technicians.
* Supporting colleagues to maintain company standards.
* Assisting with compliance audits.
* Managing small projects and contributing to future capex planning.

* Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, preferably dual-skilled.
* Ability to manage and prioritize workload in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong problem-solving skills.
* Excellent interpersonal skills to influence others.
* Self-motivated with coaching ability across all levels.
