We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £34,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 33 days of holiday pay, as well as the option to buy additional days. You’ll have access to a variety of high street discounts, as well as a cycle-to-work scheme, a workplace pension, and many other perks.
What you’ll do on a typical day:
* Day-to-day you will provide a first level advisory service, through a small team, to the site team. You’ll be supporting the delivery of the people agenda to align culture, talent, structure and processes
* Assisting the HR Manager with the site people plan and payroll activities, ensuring accuracy, education and a robust resolution structure from the onsite team
* You will support the site talent agenda with development, appraisals and succession planning - we also want you to support the leadership team in setting standards and building a positive site culture
* Ensure legal compliance with all HR and payroll practices and be aware of any employment law changes and update processes as appropriate
What you need to succeed at GXO:
* Proven experience in a similar HR Advisory role, ideally with a minimum of CIPD level 3
* If you’re from a warehousing or logistics background this would be a huge plus, although we’ll consider applicants from other fast-paced environments
* Previous experience of using time and attendance systems will be a big tick for us
