Come and join our brilliant Asset Care Team, based at our Cradley site, with travel we have an opening for an experienced, Multi Skilled Service Engineer All about the role The purpose of this role is to support the engineering requirements of the organisation. You will be responsible as part of a team to ensure all mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the company’s state-of-the-art equipment at our Cradley site with travel to other sites including Gloucester as and when necessary. This is an exciting opportunity for a multi-skilled service engineer to join our brilliant asset care team. The general hours are Monday to Friday 8- 6pm with overtime as required Specific tasks include: Support all mechanical and electrical engineering aspects of the company’s manufacturing equipment and facility services (planned & reactive). Routine maintenance of equipment, fault prevention, finding and repair of equipment and services. Assist in the development of processes and making recommendations on improvements, asset care and developing a lean culture within the business. Analyse equipment failures and suggest cost effective improvements. Support the development to support the implementation of PPM schedules and Operating procedures. Support the development of the Operator’s procedures and train them to carry out basic maintenance on the machines. Essential Skills for the role: A Maintenance Engineering qualification or equivalent or a time served Apprenticeship – NVQ Level 3. Electrical training and qualifications Experience of working in a Machinery Maintenance/ heavy industry background. A background in fault finding/ rectification & competent mechanically, with experience of hydraulics & Conveyoring systems. A full Uk driving licence with no more than 6 points
